Clutter. Angie Hyche talks about physical clutter, the to-do list, calendar clutter, brain clutter, gadget clutter. Our possession-seeking and -keeping is a lifestyle thing, as is keeping it to a minimum.
Starting with the physical clutter, Angie gives some tips on where to start. With some thoughts specifically for our demographic – whether we’re dealing with our own belongings or our parents’!
Your calendar – does it align with and serve your life’s priorities?
People “clutter” – sounds dreadful but many of us have a person… or people… in our lives that we need to shed.
And then there’s the “need to remember” clutter in your head: the groceries to pick up on the way home, email that person, but tickets…. There’s an app (tool) for that!
Angie admits where she has struggled with the clutter – of all sorts – in her life. So, if you struggle, that’s ok, keep at it… so do the pros.

Angie Hyche is a certified professional organizer, author, speaker, and podcaster. She worked with clients in homes and businesses for 6 1/2 years. Now her focus is on creating content that helps people simplify their lives by identifying and clearing the clutter that distracts them from their priorities.
She’s the author of the book Unholy Mess: What the Bible Says about Clutter and she is co-host of the podcast Uncluttered: Shaping Your Heart & Home for What Matters Most with author and former professional organizer Liana George.
She lives with her husband Eric in a small downtown loft. In 2019, they were thrilled to shed approximately 75% of their belongings in order to simplify their own lives. They have two grown daughters, Emma and Lydia.
When Angie’s not organizing or writing, she love to ride bikes or to hike in national parks with Eric and to read.
