Visibility, Intuition, and the Courage to Be Seen with Monica Rivera
Many women reach a quiet moment when the life that once fit no longer does — not because something went wrong, but because they changed. In this thoughtful, wide-ranging conversation, Agnes sits down with keynote speaker and communications strategist Monica Rivera to talk about what it really looks like to translate decades of experience into a next chapter that feels aligned, meaningful, and sustainable.
Rather than “starting over,” Monica invites women to recognize the value of what they already carry — their judgment, intuition, skills, and stories — and to trust themselves enough to experiment, show up imperfectly, and claim visibility without waiting for confidence to magically appear.
-
Why reinvention doesn’t require abandoning your past — only reframing it
-
How to recognize the inner signals that tell you it’s time for change
-
The difference between experience, intuition, and discernment
-
Why small experiments matter more than big leaps
-
Visibility as a pathway to recognition — especially for midlife women
-
What women often need to unlearn after long corporate careers
This episode is a grounded, generous reminder that your next chapter doesn’t start from scratch — it starts from you.

About the guest: Monica Rivera
I’ve spoken at over 100 companies, from TEDx to TIME Magazine to The New York Times, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: It’s not the loudest voice that gets heard. It’s the clearest one.
Early in my career, I was working in a male-dominated industry and I just couldn’t find my footing. My skills and background were different, plus I was the only woman and at the time, one of the youngest. To gain traction and respect, I relied on my innate gift – storytelling. I observed that my co-workers, while brilliant in their work, couldn’t get buy-in from stakeholders, partially because they were using technical speak and jargon. I knew how to talk about what they did in a way that made stakeholders care (and understand).
Since then, I’ve dedicated my work to helping leaders, founders, and high-achievers find the message behind their magic.
I help them take the stories they’ve lived and turn them into strategy.
You will walk away from this conversation with the exact tools you need to:
- Speak with clarity and presence – Tell stories that build trust (and drive results)
- Show up like the leader you already are—but with language that lands
This is a conversation for people who know they have more to offer, and want to be seen, heard, and taken seriously in what comes next.
